You can go to pages and create page for slider. You need to add featured image on the page to make it appear in slider.
After that go to Appearance >> Featured Slider Options and assign slider.

These issues do not look like related to the child theme. Can you please try using other theme and check once?
Next, try to use child theme without changing any code that comes in the zip file you downloaded from themeforest.

=> We cannot show a complete 1920px image in small devices so only part of it can be visible. It will be better if you show center part of the background image. You can go to Appearance >> Customize >> Additional CSS and add following CSS for it:

Probably, you need to install Serbain version of WordPress for it. We have used core feature of WordPress so there is no way to change it from theme.

We are extremely sorry to inform you that there is no option to replace the image with a slider on About Us section.
You can change image position left or right but cannot replace it.

You can change the date format from wp-admin dashboard. Please go to Settings >> General and change date format there.
To hide date from slider, featured and highlighted section, please go to Appearance >> Customize >> Additional CSS and add following codes:

Try adding image that is completely 410px height without white space.

Please follow these steps
– Go to wp-admin
– Click on Appearance and Themes
– Click on Add New at top
– Click Upload Themes
– Browse file and select theme you have downloaded
– Upload it and activate it.To enable license key
– Go to Appearance
– Click on theme license
– Enter license key
– Save changes
– Activate it and you are done.Hi @leanne,
