If you set excerpt length higher than words that are before -more- tag, Continue Read will not b visible.
So it is better to use excerpt length lower than the number of words that are available before -more- tag.

Inserting -more- tag will truncate content after it so continue reading will not get visible.
If you have few posts you can delete -more- manually and use excerpt length to control it.
If you have too many posts and it is not possible to remove this tag manually, please let us know.

Please go to Appearance >> Customize >> Advance Color Options and use your green color (#34b234) at General Color >> Primary Color and Top Header >> Top Header Background
