You are using eC-Gem: Latest News widget to display news in home page.

You can display only 3 posts using this widget.

To display more than 3 posts, you can categorize your posts into 2 categories.

Then add eC-Gem: Latest News widgets 2 times at Home Page Widget Area section. You can select 2 different category for each of them.

Appearance >> Customize >> Additional CSS is only the option to add custom CSS on themes.

You might have used any plugin or changed core file of the theme to add your CSS. Please check it.
