I’ve made a slider using the default slider on the theme but when I see the website on my phone (iPhone) or use the Chrome extension to test the mobile sizes it’s not being responsive.

We have used image as background and showing captions over it. You can check demo of the theme.
But you are using content in your image so there is no way to make such image fit all size devices.
We recommend you to use image as background and content as caption as shown in demo.
