AnonymousHi there,
Just upgraded to the pt mag plus theme, looking good but the overall look of the site is ruined by different aspect and sized images. Is there a way to force the theme to use a soft crop from all featured images on the homepage, so the layout is uniform?
Also, how to change the font colour? With a black background, the grey text is a little dark.
Plus, last question for now, is there anyway to reduce the image size in the slider, similar problem with image displaying too large.
Cheers!

March 20, 2020 at 1:11 pm #14991Hello There!
Hope you are doing good!
There is no option of cropping a featured image of the post in the WordPress however you can always crop the image with the help of third-party tools (Like PhotoShop) and then can upload it.
we are not sure about which font you are talking about, Would it be possible to share with us the website URL and the screenshot of the section, you are talking about? It will help us to provide you an effective solution.
Have a great day ahead!
Thanks and Regards,

AnonymousHi there,
Thanks for the reply. This is a mature site with a load of photos so may need to re-think my front page setup!
If I switch to a static page, is there a widget I can use to just setup an image grid, with each image taking the viewer to the post listing of a particular category? This would allow me to tailor just a few images with the correct size so the front page looks tidy.
The text I’m looking to brighten up is just the post text – have a look at https://www.theindependentvoice.org/
Cheers!

Greetings of the day!
For the 1st issue, you can find a plugin from here, as per your requirement.
For second one, you need to create a custom CSS by following below mentioned steps
1) Please log in to the admin area
2) Go to “Appearance >> Customize >> Additional CSS”.
3) Paste the below code in “Additional CSS”p, li,
#primary .page .entry-title a,
#primary .post .entry-title a,
.entry-meta > span a,
.single-post-meta > span a,
.entry-footer > span a,
.news-text-wrap h2,
.news-text-wrap h2 a,
.news-text-wrap h3,
.news-text-wrap h3 a,
.news-item .news-text-wrap .posted-date
{
color: #fff !important;
}4) Save the updates
Hope this helps!
