    I spent a good part of today switching to your theme and getting it to look just like I wanted. Looks perfect on Opera and Chromium but as you can see Firefox does not like.

    Opera on Left Firefox on right

    I tried this on 3 different machines. All of them have a 64-bit Linux distro on them which is based largely on Ubuntu 16.04 LTS. I was rather shocked to see what I see in that display.

    Hi @seasoned_geek,

    In the screenshot you have provided we can see some theme other than Blog Way. It looks like old theme is being displayed in firefox because of server cache.

    We checked it in firefox and we can see same layout like in other browser. Please check screenshot here:
    https://nimbus.everhelper.me/client/notes/share/970795/v4o555gweyufsisc8mbs

    Please clear cache of your machines and server as well and check the site. If you still see same issue feel free to contact us.

    Thank you.

    1) I cleared the cache before filing the report. I have spent roughly 30 years in IT working on systems both massive and embedded.

    2) The other 2 machines had different distros on them and had _never_ been to the site. One had never had its browser used. They were recent installs to run BOINC. They sit there on a shelf making the human race better until I need to look at something and don’t have one of my laptops sitting by my desktop.

    3) You tried it on Firefox but not Firefox on a 64-bit YABU distro. I know this because of the 3 colored buttons in the upper left. Firefox works differently on each platform. Since I’ve never seen the 3-dots I’m guessing you tested on the totally useless Apple platform.

    4) I spent quite a bit of time this morning trying to determine just where this thing is gagging. The screen shot you sent me is after my latest attempted fix. you will notice the post title font is now black and the background is much darker. Forcing a significant change to the background color seemed to make it work better on Firefox. It still does not work _correctly_ on firefox, but works better. With Opera and Firefox on the same 64-bit YABU machine the background is dramatically darker in Opera. There are other oddities with it but I’m installing more browsers on this machine now to see which doesn’t like this theme.

    Hi @seasoned_geek,

    On your screenshot of firefox we can see that our theme Blog Way is not used. It is some other theme.

    Can you enable debug mode and check which theme is being displayed?

    As our theme is not being used we cannot determine exact problem. Its not issue related with our theme.

    Hi @seasoned_geek,

    Please switch theme to some other theme like Twenty Seventeen or Twenty Sixteen and check if they behave like this in your different browser.

    Next can be disable all plugin and check once if you still see same issue or not.

    I just installed Dillo, Aurora, Qupzilla and Chromium. None of them had _ever_ been installed on this machine as it was recently moved to KDE Neon via clean install. Opera is showing the site the way it was last left: green links with black title text. The exact same way you show it on what I assume is the useless Apple platform. Please take a look at how the 4 browsers which had never been installed on this machine show it with Opera on the left.

    Hi @seasoned_geek,

    Actually we have give dark overlay on banner to make text above it visible in all type of images. Overlay has different property in different browsers.

    You can use following css to remove dark overlay from banner.

    .main-banner.banner-enabled:before{
        background: none;
    }

    While that is an answer to some issue, it has absolutely nothing to do with my issue.

    My issue is that when one sets the background color and a few of the other colors your plug-in no longer works.

    Hi @seasoned_geek,

    Please trying adding custom CSS like we provided. We cannot check it in all type of Browsers.

    You didn’t check it on any platform other than Apple which is why it is junk!

    I spent half an hour, loaded half a dozen free browsers on a free Linux distro and found your theme only worked on one You put this out for free hoping others will pay for the “better” ones and hire your firm. Speaking as someone with 30+ years in IT and an award winning technical book series I can promise you, this theme isn’t bringing in any customers. Why? Because every potential customer is going to test it with the major browsers available on Linux and Android. When they see it doesn’t work they will move on.

    You are providing free versions to SELL premium versions but when the free versions are untested bug-ridden things you aren’t going to entice customers into parting with cash.

    Your landing page proves the point: https://promenadethemes.com/
    Where you are trying to hawk an untested bug ridden premium version of the untested bug ridden free version.

    I spent no money and under half an hour putting it through only the most cursory of tests.

    While AGILE is the politically correct term for “hacking on the fly without a plan” it is not how successful projects are delivered.

    Hi @seasoned_geek,
