I wrote 1 blog post and a few more blog posts and they are not showing up under my ‘Blog’ page.

Am I missing something? Is there a setting I should be changing? Any help would be greatly appreciated. I’m new to blogging and WordPress and figuring it out as I go and maybe this is a silly question but I just cannot figure it out.

I just checked the demo to see what was done, each blog category was posted in the menu by itself. I suppose the ‘Blog’ page would just look exactly like the ‘Home’ page since they would just display latest posts. I changed my layout so that my menu included my categories vs just a general ‘Blog’ menu option that expanded into my blog post categories.

If you have any other thoughts I’d be happy to hear them. In the meantime I think I’ll continue populating with my categories just being in my menu.

    Hi @autumn-anthology,

You can show blog post list like demo of our home page. Please follow steps below to show list of posts in blog page.
    – Create a new page called Blog.
    – At wp-admin, go to Settings >> Readings and assign blog page like shown in screenshot.

    Hello,

I have the same issue. If I follow the instructions in the screen shot the blog posts show up on the blog page, but no longer on the home page.

    Hi @ctm,

Home page is itself blog page in this theme. It shows latest blog posts on home page.

However, you can set home page and blog page too. You need to go to Setting >> Reading and assign those pages.

    Thanks.

I have the same issue. I figured out some of it, but when I click on HOME, the page is empty ( I only have one post) and I was trying to have the HOME displaying the BLOG.
2nd question; Authors photo and profile ( not from the ABOUT section-how do I set that up? I played with the widget and can’t seem to figure it out.

    Hi @mentalintrigue

Please go to Settings >> Reading and select Latest posts as shown here https://prnt.sc/hna0ii

You do not need separate blog page for this theme as homepage itself shows blog posting.

Regarding author profile widget, kindly create a page, give it title, add content and assign featured image.

Go to Appearance >> Widgets and add Blog Way: Author Profile widget on sidebar you wish to display. Select page you have created for author and you are done.

    Hope it will help you.

    Thank you.

Thank you, I was able to do this. How do I move that section higher on the page? It seems to be under others I already got activated.
    Thank you in advance.

How can I make the latests post appear on my home page? I got them under drop down in blog, but I’d like the HOME page to look like the blog page without the drop down menue, please?
