InactiveHi;
Love the theme so far, but as I’m still learning the ropes I have two quick questions (for now):
1. I notice two themes are included, with and without a child — what’s the difference for setting up a site similar to your demo and why would I use one over the other?
2. Please point me to where I can find the widget used in the demo for your main page carousel images (and where to find an example of how you implemented it in your demo).
Thanks,

KeymasterHi @wsterdan
Please find an answer to your questions below
1. I notice two themes are included, with and without a child — what’s the difference for setting up a site similar to your demo and why would I use one over the other?
A: You can use the main theme. Child theme is included for those who want to make changes in layout/design of theme by modifying codes.
2. Please point me to where I can find the widget used in the demo for your main page carousel images (and where to find an example of how you implemented it in your demo).
A: You can go to Appearance >> Customize >> Theme Options >> Slider Options and enable slider. You can use options available there.
Please check this documentation if you need any other help https://promenadethemes.com/documentation/blog-way/
Thank you.

InactiveHi;
Thanks for the quick responses, much appreciated.
I had read the documentation provided, but I’m obviously missing something simple in implementing the slider. I’ll work on it for a bit and see if I can puzzle it out (I’m pretty sure it’s me and not the theme).
Thanks again,

KeymasterHi @wsterdan
Setting a slider is straightforward. You can go to Appearance >> Customize >> Theme Options >> Slider Options and enable slider. You can use options available there.
But note that you need to add featured image to page or post that you use for slider.
Thank you.

KeymasterHi @wsterdan
Happy to help you. If you can manage few minutes of your busy schedule to rate our theme and drop few lines of feedback about support in themeforest where you bought this theme, it will be highly appreciated.
Thank you.
