I recently changed my theme to Blog Way via WordPress and after previewing and making changes the footer has disappeared.

You have enabled infinite scroll using jetpack so footer will be visible when you scroll to last post.
To see footer you can check any inner page like http://5feetofstyle.com/about-me/
