    Hello,

    In Blog Way Plus is there a way to enable short code execution on main post listing page? I see there is a “strip_shortcodes” function in inc/extras.php but removing that didn’t seem to work.

    Actually it appears that not just short codes but other html elements like tables are also not executed/displayed in excerpts.

    Is there a way to change this?

    I found the issue – didn’t realize WordPress strips everything in post excerpts. So, I ended up using this plugin which enables customization of excerpt behavior:

    wordpress.org/plugins/advanced-excerpt/

    Oh wow thanks for sharing it! I’ve struggled with the same problem for some time, I tried this plugin and voila everything works correctly.
